Who did you contact to get access to the chapel? I am trying to see if I can hold my wedding here…

  2. Jon Bolden says:

I actually have no idea, the bride and I just showed up one day. I don’t think she contacted or scheduled with anyone. it’s just a public building that is unlocked. I would try perhaps going out there and trying to find contact info on the church wall or something as there is no email or phone number for the venue online. Sorry I couldn’t be more help!

  3. Bethany Korleski says:

There is info on the wall with the contact information. From what I know it is a private owned venue. I will be going out there later this week. I know there is a cost to rent it out, i’m not sure however how much it is…

  4. Jon Bolden says:

Oh! It is a private venue, eh? In that case, I’m betting that Casey contacted someone about it, then. I got confused because we were looking at several churches. I’ll contact her and she if she still has the information. Thanks for the tip, Bethany!

  5. Mr. Bolden, Polly Texas Pioneer Association co-owns and operates the Chapel. We are currently building a new website and would like to speak to you about possibly featuring a couple of your photos on our venue rental page. Please contact Mr. Rudi Rodriguez, Vice Chairman of Polly Texas Pioneer Association or myself at (210) 673-3584.

  6. Some of these photos are now featured on our new web site thanks to Mr. Bolden and Casey.

  7. Lisa says:

Mr. Rudi Rodriguez IS NOT THE CONTACT person for the weddings! You need to email me back whoever is interested at and I will let you know who to contact and the phone number. Rudi is not even a direct decedant. His Texas Pioneer Association has nothing to do with the FAMILY of Polly. The family is not in the business of making money off Polly’s name.

  8. Jon Bolden says:

Lisa, you should contact Mr. Rodriguez in this matter.

Looking for information regarding having a wedding at Polly’s Church.

    Thank You,

This is private property. Keep off!

  11. jonbolden says:

The property was not private when we went there in 2011. Please look into the venue before taking photos there. I don’t know who to believe with all these comments, so just find out for yourselves. Thanks!

  12. Polly’s Chapel belongs to the Rio Grande Conference of the United Methodist Church. Polly left it to his faith. Polly Texas Pioneer Association volunteers work
tirelessly to preserve and maintain the building and grounds thru fundraising efforts and with much support from the community. There is a rental fee to use
the Chapel for the day. This money pays for monthly electrical bills, mowing, weekly cleaning, paper products and hand soap for the restrooms. The Chapel is a Historical Site and is open daily from 9am to 6pm.
