What's New - Jon Bolden’s Journal

I didn’t really read up on my SXSW appearances prior to the week because I’ve been feeling very jaded about live music for so long. I stumbled upon a listing that showed three Superdrag shows yesterday. They are potentially my favorite band of all time. I didn’t even know they were back in full force, let alone playing three FREE shows, AND with a new album. I have pics of the performances to come. I talked to lead singer, John Davis, once again and he remembered (at least he said he did). I opened a show for him in West Virginia in 2005. Rad times, it was.

To top it off! I went to listen to  some new tracks on iTunes before I bought the disc, and I discovered my name on the “contemporaries” list. Crazy! (see below)
