Internet Explorer 6

Following the lead of several other designers, I am considering no longer offering support for IE6 bugs. I also will install a module on every site I build from now on (with the client’s approval) notifying the user they have an outdated browser. I’m tired of wasting time and money on outdated technology. I’m putting my foot down.  The 19% of people still using it (W3C stats) can just have errors. Follow the lead, software companies. Quit wimping out.

Did you see that many Norway sites are taking this on: http://www.quickonlinetips.com/archives/2009/02/norway-ie6-browser-upgrade-warnings/

This is a define problem, I am working on a site for a non-profit in Marietta, and it probably took twice as long to work out the IE6 issues. And for me it is getting harder and harder to find computers with IE6 still installed to do my debugging.
