What a Day!
Thursday, April 23rd, 2009
Wow! What a crazy awesome day. I woke up at 7:00 and did the following: Finished exporting headshots and sent them to the appropriate folks, worked on site changes for Trinidad (the movie) site. I scooted down to EcoAction and recycled about 200 AA batteries (from photography equipment).
THEN, I stopped off near St. Edward’s University to visit my friend, Jeff.
THEN, I went to Dominican Joe (one of my all time favs) to work on some bug fixes for a Dayjobinc project. Had lunch at South Congress Cafe (best food ever).
THEN, I went back to Dominican Joe and met up with Amanda Cobbity Cobbs for a chat.
THEN, I worked until 6:00, headed to the Holly St house and chatted with cool guy, Joel Moody. Borrowed some shorts, headed to Target to buy socks that I needed. THEN, went to do yoga with Kacey and friends. THEN, headed to Homeslice Pizza (another all time fav).
THEN, headed BACK TO DOMINICAN JOE (that’s 3 times people).
THEN!!!! Went to Joel’s to return said shirts and talk shop with Hotdog. Now I am back and feeling pretty effin good about my life.
Biggest Fear
Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009Last night I realized that most of the stress I feel is brought on by myself. Hardly anyone ever complains about me getting things done. I’m rarely really behind on deadlines. Most people mean it when they say “do this whenever” or “when you have free time”. Yet, I can’t seem to let go and accept that there’s not enough time in the day to do everything that’s pending. The work will be there in the morning and there’s no point in thinking about it at night.
I think my biggest fear is that I will either feel lazy or someone else will think I’m lazy. So… when I realized this last night I immediately went to Hyde Park Bar & Grill, ordered a steak, did laundry, had a piece of cake, and went to bed. haha
Flickr Every Day
Tuesday, April 21st, 2009I have enough photos that I want to share to do one Flickr photo a day. But I’m so tempted to do more than one each time. Plus I know I’ll never remember to upload every day. I might find or write a script to upload every night based from a “bucket” of photos.
What do you think? Is it cooler to see a batch of photos or more enjoyable to have a daily dose?
