Grocery Store Interaction

I was at HEB (local texas grocery for you non-Texan readers) just about 20 minutes ago. I only picked up a handful full of items and proceeded to check out. This is a real transcript between me and the checkout guy.

Me: I don’t need a bag with these

HEB Dude: Oh, yeah you do actually

Me: ???? Um.. naw, I’m good. I’m just going to put them in my bike’s compartment

HEB Dude: You have a bike, then you’ll really need a bag

Me: No, seriously, I don’t want a bag, I’m fine.

HEB Dude: You have to have a bag. I’m sorry.

What????
