Internet Explorer 6

Friday, February 20th, 2009

Following the lead of several other designers, I am considering no longer offering support for IE6 bugs. I also will install a module on every site I build from now on (with the client’s approval) notifying the user they have an outdated browser. I’m tired of wasting time and money on outdated technology. I’m putting my foot down.  The 19% of people still using it (W3C stats) can just have errors. Follow the lead, software companies. Quit wimping out.

I’ve been keeping a log since I got my scooter on in December. I’ve spent under $20 bucks on gas in two months……. wonderful :-)

Music Video

Monday, February 9th, 2009

When you are constantly creating things, you will eventually make something and forget about it for weeks, months, or even years.

I completely forgot about the music video for “Trying to Define It” made back in 2005 / 2006 by Joe Hannon and myself. I am pretty proud of how well it holds together for being made on a $300 camera and using only flood lights & sheets. Joe had some really awesome ideas and we jointly discovered some cool things along the way. I wish the fidelity was a little higher, but I think the spirit of the song and video shine through.
